Laredo (/ləˈreɪdoʊ/ lə-RAY-doh; Spanish:  ) is a city in and the county seat of Webb County, Texas, United States, on the north bank of the Rio Grande in South Texas, across from Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
