Introduction to Burley

Burley (/ˈbʊrliː/) is a city in Cassia and Minidoka counties in the southern Idaho, United States. The population was 10,345 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of Cassia County.

Burley is the principal city of the Burley, Idaho Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes Cassia and Minidoka counties. A post office called Burley has been in operation since 1905. The community was named after David Ellsworth Burley, a railroad official.
