Ramtown is a census-designated place and unincorporated community located within Howell Township, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 6,242.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP had a total area of 2.203 square miles (5.707 km2), including 2.192 square miles (5.678 km2) of land and 0.011 square miles (0.029 km2) of water (0.50%).
There are two main roads that run through Ramtown, Newtons Corner Rd and Ramtown-Greenville Rd. Newtowns Corner Rd beings at the southern border of Brick and Howell Township, and runs through Ramtown north, until the road changes to Herbertsville Rd, which brings you into Squankum. Rawmtown-Greenville road runs through the back end of ramtown, starting at the Lakewood and Howell border, passes the 3 public schools, and ends when it meets with Newtowns-Corner Rd. The landscape of Ramtown is fairly flat, consisting of several neighbors of suburban style housing and a handful of family owned farms scattered throughout the area. There are many woodland areas within Ramtown, but many are being cut down to build new neighborhoods for the growing population.
